Department of Biological Sciences has laboured intensively to establish its reputation as a seat of learning and research where devotion, commitment to service, respect for diversity, professionalism rooted in fair play and transparency and respect for human dignity modeled on behalf of staff and teaching faculty has enabled students to bag academic accomplishments that have left eternal imprints in Forman Christian College’s (A Chartered University) history. Our students have earned the national and international appreciation in recognition of their academic and professional prowess.

Today, we stand firm on the foundations of conviction to groom and train students entrusted to us for challenges of postmodern age by encouraging scientific discourse, debate and reasoning, research and practical application of knowledge by dovetailing creativity, innovation, and critical analysis.
