The Secret World of Sound

Forman Einsteins organized an educational and engaging documentary screening titled The Secret World of Sound. The event was designed to educate students on how nature harnesses sound for everyday phenomena and how it supports animals in their daily lives, including communication and survival strategies.

The event commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Books, followed by the college anthem.

The documentary provided an in-depth look at how sound plays a critical role in nature. It highlighted the unique ways in which animals like bees, rats, dolphins, elephants, and owls use sound for communication, navigation, and hunting.

The session included demonstrations and interactive activities led by Mr. Sarosh Inayat, Lecturer- Physics Department College. These activities captured students’ attention and reinforced key concepts in an interactive manner. The combination of visuals, sound effects, and real-world examples made the session both dynamic and memorable.

A panel of distinguished faculty members was present to address student queries, fostering a deeper understanding of the subject matter. Their responses added valuable perspectives and enriched the discussion.

The Head of Physics Department, Mr. Muhammad Iqbal, concluded the session with insightful words, emphasizing the importance of understanding sound in nature and encouraging students to delve further into the subject.
