FC College View mapThe Shakespeare’s Club recently conducted a successful student engagement activity focused on welcoming the new first-year students to our college. This initiative was carried out in person, with members of the club visiting various sections across campus to speak directly with second year students. The purpose of this activity was to encourage a sense of responsibility among the senior students and to inspire them to support and guide the newcomers during their early days in college.
During these visits, we reminded the senior students of the importance of showing kindness, respect, and consideration to the new members of the Formanite family. Drawing inspiration from our college anthem, “As brothers stand with brother, by love serve one another,” We emphasized the impact that small gestures—such as helping someone find a building or simply offering a friendly word.
We also took this opportunity to remind students of the college’s zero-tolerance policy on bullying, harassment, and any form of mistreatment. We made it clear that such behavior is completely unacceptable and goes against the values of our institution. Instead, we encouraged the senior students to take the lead in creating an environment where everyone feels safe, respected, and included.
