Ghulam Murtaza

Mr. Ghulam Murtaza is currently serving in Forman Christian College(A chartered university), department of Physics Lahore, since 2021.He is also serving as a proctor and advisor. He is a competent professional with more than 10 years of experience in teaching, mentoring, and counselling in a variety of prestigious institutes in Pakistan.

During his stay in different institutes, he has performed different academic duties along with teaching.

He taught physics in FSc and BS programs (Statistical mechanics, Optics, applied physics, Heat and thermodynamics and Modern physics Lab)

Professional experience: 

Served as Lecturer in Physics at Superior College and University Lahore.
Served as Lecturer in Physics at Al-Hamad College Lahore.
Served as Lecturer in Physics at Aspire College Lahore.
Served as visiting Lecturer in Physics at University of Sargodha.
Served as Lecture in Physics at University of Lahore

Community Services:

• Served as STEM (Science Technology engineering and Mathematics) advisor and supervised more than 70 projects for intermediate, BS and MS level students.
• Served as Practical-Examiner of BISE Lahore.
• Serving as member of a blood donating society etc.

Achievements:

Best Teacher awards 2013,2016 and 2017
Best Poster award in 17 National symposiums held in December 2022 on Frontiers in Physics at GC university Lahore.

Research and publications:

• During MPhil Mr. Ghulam Murtaza did his research in theoretical plasma physics under the topic of “Propagation of nonlinear surface waves at the interface of layered structure”.
• Recently third international publication in a reputed journal is in progress
