Sports Department Holds 1st Intermediate Intramural Table Tennis Championship

The 1st FCCU Intermediate Intramural Table Tennis Championship was organized by the Sports Department, between October 23 to 29, 2019. This was part of an initiative by Vice Rector (I), Dr. Ivan Suneel Samuel to provide separate opportunities in sports to college students. More than 75 students participated in the tournament representing teams of various disciplines from college section at FCCU. The Table Tennis Championship included some very interesting and fierce games which were witnessed by a large number of spectators comprising of both students and faculty, who enjoyed their competitive nature. The teams were led by Sports Advisors from amongst the Faculty and Hostel wardens.

The 1st semi final of the tournament was played between Computer Seniors Team and Kennedy Hall Team and was won by Kennedy Hall.

The 2nd semi final was played between Engineering Seniors C Team and Medical Seniors A Team and was won by Medical Seniors A.

The Final was won by Medical Seniors A Team and Kennedy Hall Team were declared runners up.
