Position requirements:

Minimum Education and Experience:

  • 12 years equivalent education (with Chemistry subject) with 5 years relevant work experience
  • 14 years equivalent education (with Chemistry subject) with 3 years relevant work experience

A candidate is expected to have excellent interpersonal qualities and standard professional work habits of punctuality, responsibility, hard work, initiative, and creativity.

Job Purpose/Summary:

This position will be responsible to assist and maintain overall Chemistry lab activities in college.

Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities (but are not limited to the following):

  1. To assist instructors in conducting lab activities, making all necessary arrangements in advance for laboratory class, including preparation of solutions and reagents, and making ready the required apparatus and glassware.
  2. Assisting students in performing their lab activity.
  3. Maintaining the laboratory and keeping it up to date for lab activities.
  4. Upholding safety in the laboratory.
  5. Any other job assigned by the head of department.
