Vice Rector Office (Intermediate) Holds Faculty Retreat

The Office of Vice Rector (Intermediate) organized ‘Faculty Retreat – 2019’ with the theme ‘Touching Hearts, Changing Lives’.  The retreat offered a unique opportunity of upscaling skills and learning new teaching methodologies to the Intermediate faculty by hosting trainers with expertise in different domains across the academic spectrum.

Ms. Uzma Khan from the Language Development Department at FCCU delivered a presentation on learning through storytelling, Dr. Natasha Anwar’s session focused on making learning experiences fun within a classroom, Mrs. Sheena Sohail’s presentation geared toward making teaching effective, Mrs. Tina Hameed helped faculty identify the most common mistakes made by teachers and Mr. Benjamin Childs’ session highlighted the manners in which authority of teachers should be exercised. Dr Ivan Suneel, Vice Rector of Intermediate inspired the faculty to find spiritual, physiological and psychological balance in their lives.

An important highlight of the retreat was a mediating session led by Ms. Tahira Babar. All sessions were very well received.
