Dr John Schwaiger Holds Workshop on ‘Unlocking Your Potential’

The Intermediate faculty and demonstrators had an enlightening session with Dr John Schwaiger; he is the founder and president of a Career formation – USA and Co-founder of Proformation – Europe.  He is the author of the “In Search of a Good-Fit Series on Career Planning and College Preparation” for students, adults and teachers editions, and “Uniquely Yours–Unlock Your Potential”. He has conducted a series of workshops at regional conferences in Africa, Asia, Europe, and South America and the United States. The title of the workshop was ‘Unlock your potential’ and it was arranged by the Vice Rector (Intermediate), Dr Ivan Suneel Samuel. Dr Schwaiger highlighted important topics related to teaching and laid emphasis on the fact that teachers should be well aware of why they are choosing teaching as a career and what goals they have set for their professional development. He drew attention to the fact that choosing a career is a very crucial decision and only that profession should be adopted which suits ones aptitude and personality. Dr Schwaiger commented that careers should be properly planned as they not only provide contentment but it also guarantees ones professional growth.

The session was insightful and very interactive; Dr Schwaiger kept the audience intact by inviting questions and opinions regarding the subject under discussion.
