Forman Christian College hosts successful SciCon 1.0 Science Fair with Distinguished Alumni Guests

Forman Christian College (A Chartered University) organized SciCon 1.0, a Science Fair, on March 9th, 2023. The event was attended by notable guests, including Mr. Qamar Zaman Kaira (Advisor to the PM on GB Affairs) and Dr. Mirza Habib Ali (Chairman, Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Lahore), both of whom are FCC alumni. FCCU’s leadership team, including Rector Dr. Jonathan Addleton, Vice Rector Dr. Ivan Suneel Samuel, Registrar Dr. Nayer Fardows, College Coordinator Dr. Lubna Amer, and CIO Mr. Rehan Sohail, welcomed the guests.

The Science Fair provided a platform for students and young researchers to showcase their scientific knowledge, skills, and innovation. The theme of this year’s SciCon was “Think Science,” reflecting Forman’s emphasis on critical thinking and promoting innovative ideas that can advance Pakistan’s technological progress.

During their speeches, the distinguished guests commended FCC’s faculty and staff for organizing such an engaging event. They congratulated the student winners and encouraged others to participate in similar activities. Dr. Addleton (Rector) and Dr. Ivan Suneel Samuel (Vice Rector (College)) expressed gratitude to the guests for attending the Science Fair 2023.
