History:
After the denationalization of Forman Christian College in 2003, the Department of Religious Studies jointly served intermediate and undergraduate students for six years. Later, after being awarded the status of chartered University, the Intermediate section was given a separate administrative and academic identity. There are four faculty members in this department and all are highly motivated, qualified and equipped with modern teaching approaches. They always strive to meet the challenges of changing world by making a good understanding of beauty in diversity by following the college motto – ‘By love serve one another.’
Vision & Mission:
The department’s mission is to make FCCU one of the most glorious educational institutions in the subcontinent. We always strive to inculcate the values of tolerance, forbearance, and religious harmony among the future of the nation. As we teach the students during the most important formative phase of their lives. We want to make our students a role model for others by following the core values of FCCU in their practical lives.
