TLF holds Workshop on Question Paper Setting

Department of Urdu, under the banner of TLF, held an interactive workshop on May 2, 2019 on the topic “Basics of Question Paper Setting”.

It was the second interactive workshop of the year and was held in Jacob Lal Din Seminar Room, Ewing Memorial Library. The guest speaker at the workshop was Syeda Khadija Burhan, an Assistant Professor in Department of Education, FCCU. At the start, Professor Tahir Masood, Coordinator of the TLF, presented a summary of the workshops held in the previous years, after which the session started with an interesting exercise.

The facilitator explained the categories of questions in the light of Blooms Taxonomy through this exercise. Also discussed was how these can be used in making a question paper. At the end of the discussion, the guest speaker shared some unique teaching methodologies. The workshop is likely to have a positive effect on the BISE result.

At the end of the session, Head of Urdu Department Professor Aneel Samuel gave a vote of thanks to the guest and participants and appreciated the efforts of TLF. On behalf of TLF, souvenirs were presented to the honorable guest. TLF routinely holds educational workshops and sessions for the progressive growth of teachers’ professional skills.
